LocalBitcoins is one of the first P2P services for exchanging Bitcoins to fiat currency.

Since 2019, a mandatory verification consisting of 4 levels appeared on the platform. In February 2023, the service closed the possibility of registration and trading. Thereby ceased its work. The founders see the reason in the "protracted cryptozyme".
