Paxful is a P2P service for direct Bitcoin exchanges. One of the oldest exchanges, it was founded in 2015.
The once popular service was shut down on April 4, 2023. The reason was pressure from regulators. But in May 2023, the exchange was revived, continuing its work.
Supports a large number of gift cards (Xbox, Amazon and so on) to exchange for BTC. During the transaction, Bitcoins are stored in a secure wallet based on the BitGo provider. Features a two-tier referral program. There are mobile applications on iOS and Android. Ruble trading is not available.
There are several levels of verification on Paxful:
Level 0 - No verification required. Transaction limits, lifetime trading volume limit and 0 USD wallet send limit;
Level 1 - Phone verification required. Transaction limit 1000 USD*, lifetime trading volume limit and lifetime limit of sending from wallet 1000 USD*;
Level 2 - Email verification required. Opens 10,000 USD lifetime trade volume limit and 10,000 USD wallet send validity limit;
Level 3 - Address verification. Opens 50,000 USD transaction limit and unlimited lifetime trading volume limit and expiration limit of sending from wallet;
Level 4 - Advanced Due Diligence. Transaction limits > 50,000 USD, and unlimited lifetime trading volume limit and expiry limit on sending from wallet.
For Lightning transactions, there is an additional limit of $750 USD per transaction and $10,000 USD per month.
*Some users from certain countries need to undergo identity verification before they can use their wallet and start trading on our platform.

The use of Paxful is restricted in countries that are on OFAC's Denied Countries List, as well as in the states of Washington and New York. In addition, Texas residents may not use Services related to the Tether digital currency (USDT).
